Meet Trifoia’s research scientists, instructional designers, content creators, design professionals, multimedia producers, software developers and accessibility experts, who collaborate with you to create engaging custom training solutions and accessible digital learning products.

Adam Wendt
CEO
Adam has worked on over 70 educational technology and media projects funded through the National Institutes of Health, the United States Department of Education, and collaborative agreements with colleges, universities, and research institutes around the country. Adam volunteers his time to support local and national innovation ecosystems, and he works for social and racial justice as a volunteer, and past secretary, of the Eugene-Springfield NAACP.

Sarah Bania-Dobyns, Ph.D.
Instructional Designer/ Design Researcher
Sarah is an instructional designer who collaborates with Trifoia’s clients to design engaging and accessible trainings and other learning materials. Prior to working with Trifoia, she consulted with university, nonprofit, and corporate clients, providing strategic advice and reporting, market and user experience research, and creative learning solutions. In her spare time, she enjoys being in nature and spending time with family.

Kimberlee Noel
R&D Project Coordinator
As a research & design coordinator Kimberlee oversees project activities associated with grant-funded research projects. In her free time Kimberlee enjoys collaborating on civic projects that bring people together for the greater good. When not actively working on community projects you can often find her hanging out with her family playing board games or perfecting her cooking skills.

Martin Wolf
Customer Support Manager
As Trifoia’s Customer Support Manager, Martin helps keep our learners happy. Martin has years of experience in the Eugene tech industry doing everything from Product Support to Project Management. When relaxing, he likes reading at the park, solving puzzles, and building LEGO Technic sets.

Ambra Perry
Office Manager
Ambra oversees administrative functions and is a member of the customer support and finance teams. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her husband discussing scientific discoveries, camping, gardening, and enjoying nature. Ambra also loves to spend time with her children and animals of all kinds, especially horses.

Mark Davis
CTO
Before finding a home at Trifoia, Mark’s been a fixture in the Eugene tech scene, opening CodeChops, Eugene’s first coworking space in 2011. After a decade of splitting his efforts between civic-tech volunteering projects as a Mozilla/Open Eugene Leader and running Dark Matter Consulting, the role of CTO at Trifoia allows him to marry his tech-for-good community interests with his experience delivering world-class software.

Brinton Reed, MBA, M.S. NREM
Software Engineer
Brinton manages the development of backend systems for Trifoia clients. In addition to managing websites and databases for numerous clients, he has also helped develop solutions ranging from predictive pricing models to 3D scanning software. Brinton has published economic research focused on Nepal, India and Albania, and has work experience in more than eight countries. He is a volunteer firefighter and loves animals, travel, sci-fi and music.

Shannon Dolan, QKC, QPA, QKA
Controller
Shannon plans, directs, and coordinates all accounting and human resource operational functions at Trifoia. As a former university Accounting Instructor with a graduate certificate in Instructional Design, she is very interested in the art of crafting exceptional eLearning experiences. She also loves reading, road cycling, and exploring McMenamins' locations with her husband.

Juan Alvarez
eLearning Department Manager
As Trifoia’s eLearning department manager, brand manager and graphic designer, Juan provides brand direction and design support for internal and external clients. He enjoys landscape photography, foraging for mushrooms, and growing hot peppers which he turns into delicious hot sauces.

Ren Isen
Product Manager
Ren brings a background in both tech and media production to confidently direct projects from inception through delivery. Importing tech-startup product management energy to deliver consistently high quality, high value products to clients. Ren likes to stand in a mountain stream to recharge and refocus, or watch movies and play board games to relax and zone out.

Daniel Coats
Software Engineer
Daniel is one of our Front-End Developers. Since graduating from Lane Community College in 2019, he has worked as a freelance developer working with various technologies and fostering a curiosity about the details. A guitar player, former cement mason, and an ever-curious mind. In his free time, he enjoys continued education, gaming, and political activism.
